Meet the upgraded SHIELD

Two new SHIELD LEDs - SHIELD Static White and SHIELD Static White High Efficacy - mean one smarter choice for lighting designers and specifiers. Our newly enhanced SHIELD now constructed with a fully enclosed, high-efficiency LED strip. This upgrade offers convenient IP67 protection and pleasant diffusion, making it ideal for applications where an extrusion isn’t possible.

What’s new about our upgraded SHIELD?

New SHIELD has a silicone dome integrated onto the strip, making installation as easy as installing a standard LED strip. Compared to the previous iteration of SHIELD, the “all-in-one” SHIELD offers greater strip adhesion to reduce concerns the silicone protection will shift over time with exposure to moisture, dust or dirt.

Protected lighting for demanding projects

Looking to add lighting in challenging places like millwork, coves or near moisture? There’s a SHIELD for that. With its integrated silicone jacket, IP67 protection and 1-bin/2-step static white LED, SHIELD eliminates the need for a separate extrusion in many applications.

That simplification reduces parts, minimizes coordination and makes it easier to specify strip lighting that include space, budget or installation constraints. And, with dry-rated inline quick-connectors, it’s easy to stitch together pieces of SHIELD in the field.

SHIELD SW installed behind oval mirrors created a clean backlit effect in the Spokane Arena bathrooms, eliminating the need for mirrors with integrated LEDs. Its flexibility made it easy to follow the oval shape, and its IP67 rating makes it well suited for moisture-prone environments.
