7 Landscape Lighting Challenges Solved by VOYA Fixtures

That combination has been hard to find in a landscape lighting family, until now. Here’s how VOYA solves seven of the toughest landscape lighting challenges.

	Poor light quality. Most landscape fixtures use off-the-shelf components and hope for the best. VOYA's COB light engines are designed by QTL and binned to match our linear LEDs. The result: up to 95 CRI and R9 over 90, across six CCTs from 2200K to 4000K. The same light quality you specify indoors is now outside.

	Corrosion and seal failure. In salty air and coastal installs, aluminum corrodes, hardware rusts, seals fail. VOYA answers with powder-coated anodized aluminum, polished 316L stainless steel, polished brass, and corrosion-resistant stainless hardware throughout. Suitable for wet locations, the double-gasket design prevents seal failure even when a set screw is overtightened. VOYA’s knuckle gasket blocks water infiltration at the mount joint while the mount cavity is corked for added wet protection.

	No optical precision. Most landscape fixtures ship with one beam angle and no flexibility. VOYA offers up to eight snoot styles that put the right light exactly where it’s needed, from fully flush grazers to deep-regress downlights. VOYA also features three stacked accessory slots that hold a menu of lens options: spread, linear spread, wall wash, and glare control. Beam angles are field-interchangeable so you can dial in the light.

	One-size-fits-all output. A tall tree canopy and a small fountain don't need the same light level. The 2.5" COB's eight-step DIP-switch output control adjusts from 100% down to 30% (12VAC) and to 2% (24VDC). For projects with dark-sky or lighting power density requirements, output can be factory-locked at a specific level so it cannot be adjusted on site.

	No dim-to-warm outdoors. Hospitality and high-end residential projects expect halogen-style dim-to-warm behavior indoors. The 2.5" warm dim COB shifts from 3000K to 1800K on dim, bringing that same quality of light to landscapes for the first time.

	Wildlife and dark-sky compliance. Coastal and dark-sky projects require narrow-band amber. VOYA's amber option meets Florida Fish & Wildlife Commission (FWC) standards across three fixture sizes, and the factory-lockable output adds another layer of compliance for jurisdictions with specific power density requirements.

	Mixing fixtures across a project. End-mount and side-mount versions share the same body, finish set, and accessory slots. Mix them freely on a single project. Same design language from the 1.75" accent to the 3.5" tree uplight, visual consistency across every application.
