Available for dry applications only, field cuttable Q-CAP is compatible with all QTL LED families offered in Q-CAP, providing a seamless and versatile solution for any design.

How to Cut Field Cuttable Q-CAP Fixtures

Cutting field cuttable Q-CAP fixtures is straightforward and ensures you get the exact length you need for your project. A PP-R cutter, available for separate purchase, makes the process as simple as possible. Here’s how you do it:

Identify the Cut Points: Each Q-CAP fixture has subtle cut points printed on the sides of the fixtures that align with the LED strip cut points. Cutting on these marks will ensure there are no dead spots at the end of the fixture after it is cut.
Use a PP-R Scissor: Disconnect the field cuttable fixture from the power supply. Align the PP-R Scissor with the cut point. We recommend the blade is placed on the side of the fixture closest to the LED. Apply steady pressure to ensure a clean cut. The tool is designed to make precise cuts without damaging the fixture or the LED components.
