Syracuse University's new 5,000-square-foot esports space elevates the university’s esports program to help students of every athletic ability get into the game. The student center’s new social hub brings everyone together through gaming, learning and competition. Colorful LED lighting technology is integrated throughout the space, with a dazzling selection of LED ribbon lights on the entry glass storefront, full stage backdrop and main stage screen.

The first-of-its-kind, premier collegiate esports space is designed to engage every sense. The sights and sounds are purpose-built to create a heightened—and homey—atmosphere for gamers. Lighting designer Dan Hatt of Peterson Guadagnolo Consulting Engineers commented, “An up light along the perimeter is something that draws your eye away from what's in front of you and to look around and sort of have this little bit of a wow factor. That makes it more of a living room type of a feeling for the players.”

Students may be different, but Hatt trusts QTL will never play games. “The build quality of your products is excellent and the color consistency is good,” he declared. “I can trust you guys are going to get the job, understand it, provide the product, and I'm not going to have issues.“
