It would be hard to find a school in the US with a more impressive exterior and surroundings than Union Middle School in Sandy, Utah. Set against the Wasatch Mountains, the school features an exterior that offers a vivid mix of accent, perimeter and indirect lighting that showcase landscaping, architectural accents, pathways as well as seating and parking areas. It all comes to life thanks to QTL’s outdoor electrical junction boxes that combine weather-resistant durability and premium power supplies.

Lighting designer Phil Borup explained, “The lights underneath all the planters and seating areas turned out great. Flood lights light up Union sign with the drivers hidden in a box in the landscaping. Then, from there, it subs(?) up into those concrete benches so you don't really see anything.”  A mix of ARKA, QZ, ESSENTIALS and other QTL products create a warm, inviting atmosphere for students, faculty and the community.
